Free trial terms
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply to free trials offered by Little Bot Labs Ltd (company number 17522005, registered office Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London E17 3NU) ("we", "us"). By applying for a trial, you agree to them.
1. Applying
1.1 Submitting an application does not create any agreement or guarantee a trial.
1.2 We review every application. Shortlisted businesses are invited to a free initial consultation (up to 60 minutes, by video call or phone).
2. Selection
2.1 Trials are offered entirely at our discretion. We decide based on the initial consultation, considering:
- (a) whether the project matches our skills and the services we offer;
- (b) whether we can get the access we'd need (for example, to the relevant software, accounts or data) in a safe and timely way;
- (c) whether the project can realistically be delivered within the trial period;
- (d) our availability at the time.
2.2 We don't have to offer a trial to any applicant, and we may decline without giving detailed reasons. We offer a limited number of trials at any one time.
3. What a trial includes
3.1 Each trial covers one agreed project, scoped and confirmed with you in writing (email is fine) before work starts. This is the "Agreed Scope".
3.2 The trial runs for up to 2 weeks from the agreed start date.
3.3 Work outside the Agreed Scope, extra features, ongoing support or changes after the trial ends are not included. We're happy to quote for them separately.
3.4 If, once work starts, the project turns out to be more complex than expected (for example, because of system limitations or access problems), we may reduce the Agreed Scope or end the trial. We'll tell you as soon as possible and explain why.
4. Your part
4.1 You agree to give us timely access to the systems and information reasonably needed, and to be available for questions during the trial.
4.2 If access or information isn't provided within 3 working days of our request, we may pause or end the trial.
4.3 You confirm you're authorised to give us access to any systems, accounts and data you share, and that sharing them with us for the trial is lawful.
5. Cost and commitment
5.1 The trial is free. There's no obligation to buy anything afterwards.
5.2 At the end of the trial, we'll hand over what we built and explain how it works. If you'd like to keep using it with support, or build more, we'll offer a separate paid arrangement.
5.3 Any third-party software, subscriptions or usage fees needed to run what we build (for example, an app or AI service subscription) are your responsibility. We'll tell you about any likely costs before work starts.
6. Who owns what
6.1 You keep everything you give us: your data, documents, content and brand.
6.2 We keep our own tools, templates, code libraries, prompts and know-how, including anything we already had or create outside your trial.
6.3 At the end of the trial, you may keep using what we built for your own business, free of charge. Ownership, ongoing support and any changes are not included in the trial; if you'd like those, we'll agree them case by case in a separate written project agreement.
7. Your data and marketing
7.1 How we handle your data, and any data about your customers, is set out in our privacy policy.
7.2 We'll only refer to your project publicly in anonymised form, unless you give separate written consent to be named.
8. General
8.1 Because the trial is provided free of charge, our total liability arising from it is limited to £100, except where the law doesn't allow liability to be limited (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8.2 Either of us can end the trial at any time by email.
8.3 We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in place when your trial is confirmed.
8.4 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
